Love all former books by Mary Alice Monroe. Have purchased, read and enjoyed each one. BUT, if you are looking for her wonderful books about Isle of Palms, Sullivan’s Island and Loggerhead turtles you will b disappointed, as I was. If you love horses & have a deep knowledge of horses this will be right up your alley.Had to edit my original review. I’m sorry to say this book just got worse & worse. I sincerely believe MAM needs to go back to what she did best. This is not it!This book is so all over the place. So many characters- human & horses, dogs, cats, spirits... Impossible to keep up. So many story lines. All characters are so very ‘entitled’. Ugh...If there was a zero star rating I would have done that. Sincerely the worst review I have ever written. I really did not want to leave a low review for one of my favorite Authors but this book was just not what I expected. I had pre-ordered as I do every Mary Alice Monroe book and honestly I feel cheated!Maybe if your a horse enthusiast but not for me at all.
