From reading tbe description thought this would be a cozy clean mystery. The "mystery" was very easy to figure out after a few pages, then the book started to degrad to sleaze. Didn't finish it. Yuck! This had a good story line but it seemed that a good story was rushed into inly so many words or pages. Kind of like when you try to tell someone something exciting or scarey and they tell you to just get to the point. When if you don't get all the details in, they don't understand. Not trying to bash this writer. That's why I'm giving it 4 stars, because of the storyline. There wasn't enough excitement or drama leading up to Maeve's adventure of falling in love. It was like let's get the 2 in love and be done with it. I guess what I'm saying is, it lacked depth and excitement. Keep up the good work though. I'll probably go ahead and buy the 2nd installment to see if things get better.
